Dhunusmita Barman joined the Department of Pharmacology at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University Tezpur Campus, Assam as an Assistant Professor on 19st August 2024. After doing M. Pharm, she has worked at NEF College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Nagaon and NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati. Currently she’s having teaching experience of 2 years 10 months.
She has done Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam with major project in Pharmacological Evaluation of MiKania micrantha kunth in type-II induced Diabetes Mellitus. She has completed her undergraduated in Bachelor of Pharmacy from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati and completed her required hour of industrial training from Burnet Pharmaceuticals, Kolkata, West Begal. She also did her Diploma in Pharmacy from Institute of Pharmacy, Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh and completed her hospital training from Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital, Nalbari, Assam.
Till now, he has published 6 review article and 2 book chapter under reputed publisher. She has attended and participated in many national seminars and workshops.
