Safizul Islam joined the Department of Physics as a Laboratory Instructor on October 2021. At present, he is teaching Physics laboratory experiments. Prior to this, he worked as a Laboratory Instructor in the Department of Physics in GIMT-Tezpur. Safizul Islam done his (post-graduation) M.Sc. in Electronics Science from Gauhati University. His under-graduation (B.Sc.) is in Physics from Morigaon College. Apart from academics, he plays Cricket, Volleyball, Carrom. He played inter college cricket competition organised by Gauhati University in the year 2023. A teacher by the day and a sportsman, he identifies himself as a perpetual student in the field of sports and creativity.
