Padmanath Pegu joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry as an Assistant Professor on 1st Aug 2022. At present, he is teaching (and learning) the curriculum courses of Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He is pursuing his PhD at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati.
He has done his post-graduation M. Pharm (2020) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, undergraduate B Pharm (2018) from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guwahati, and Diploma in Pharmacy in 2015 from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. Also qualified GPAT in 2020. His brief research involved in Phytochemistry, Natural synthesis, and CAAD (Computer-aided drug design).His research interest is Phytochemistry, Natural Synthesis, and CAAD.
He is also involved and actively taking part in various seminars, webinars, and the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress to enlighten his knowledge. Apart from academics, he is actively involved in sports and other curricular activities.
