Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Medhi is currently Assistant Professor at the Civil Engineering Department of Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati. He had worked as Lecturer in Royal School of Engineering and Technology, Guwahati from 2012 to 2013 and as Assistant Professor in Regional Institute of Science And Technology, Meghalaya from 2018 to 2019.
Mr. Medhi completed his HSLC from St. Clare’s Convent School, Guwahati and HS from Cotton College, Guwahati. He obtained his B.E (Civil Engineering) from Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat under Dibrugarh University in 2012. Thereafter, he completed his M.E (Geotechnical Engineering) from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati under Gauhati University in 2017 with Honours. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Assam Engineering College under Assam Science and Technology University.
Mr. Medhi’s areas of interests include geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, soil mechanics and foundation engineering. His is also a member of Indian Geotechnical Society – Delhi chapter.
