Biography

Mr. Abdul Aziz Choudhury is currently serving as a Lecturer at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam. He is academically trained in pharmaceutical sciences with specialization in Pharmacology and is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic activities related to experimental pharmacology, toxicology, and drug discovery.

Mr. Choudhury completed his Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati. He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from The Assam Royal Global University with a strong academic record. His research interests primarily focus on nephroprotection, phytopharmacology, oxidative stress-mediated disorders, and the evaluation of bioactive phytoconstituents for the prevention and management of drug-induced toxicities.

Mr. Choudhury has successfully participated in several academic training programmes, workshops, and conferences, including professional training at NIPER-Guwahati. He has also gained industrial exposure through training at Lupin Limited, where he acquired practical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing practices, quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Choudhury is currently engaged in research related to the evaluation of nephroprotective agents, phytochemical investigation, pharmacological screening, and the biological activity assessment of medicinal plants and bioactive phytoconstituents. He has participated in several national and international conferences and has received recognition for his research presentations in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.
