Kriti Phukan joined the Department of Commerce, Girijananda Chowdhury University as an Assistant Professor on April 2023. Currently, she is teaching the curriculum courses of Accountancy. Prior to GCU, she was working as Assistant Professor at Bimala Prasad Chaliha College, Nagarbera. She has 5 years of teaching
experience in the field of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management and Auditing.
Kriti Phukan completed her M.Com from Gauhati University with specialisation in Accounts and Finance and B.com with major in Accountancy from Gauhati Commerce College. Currently she is pursuing her PhD focusing on Human Resource Management from Department of Commerce, Bodoland University. Her research interest includes Indian Philosophy in the context of Management. Apart from academics, she is passionate about travelling, learning new things, experiencing different cultures and capturing memories for lifetime. She also enjoys dancing, watching films, and photography. She constantly strives to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students to help them utilize their competency and inspire them to pursue academic and personal excellence.
