Kritanjali Jaiswal joined the Department of Humanities as an assistant professor on February 2011.She was assigned as Hod in charge in the Humanities department from 2016 to 2023,April. Currently she is working as an assistant professor under the Department of Sociology and Social Work. She teaches the curriculum courses of sociology and humanities. Kritanjali has completed her post-graduation in Sociology from Tezpur University. Moreover, she has done PGDC in Human Rights and B.Ed. from Gauhati University. She is NET qualified and having more than 14 years of teaching experience. Her research interests focus on family, gender, culture, tribes, etc. Apart from academics, she has completed 10 years of painting course. In 2020, she has received the award as “BEST PROFESSOR IN HUMANITIES STUDIES” by 27 th BUSINESS SCHOOL AFFAIR DEWANG MEHTA NATIONAL EDUCATION AWARDS (REGIONAL ROUND).
