Dr. Nayana Adhikari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, School of Pharmaceutical Science since May 2023. At present, she is teaching and learning the curriculum courses of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of this Department. From 2018 to 2023 she worked as INSPIRE fellow in Dibrugarh University, Assam under Department of Science& Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Apart from this, she also served as Teaching assistant in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam.
She received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dibrugarh University, Assam. Her research work was mostly on computer aided drug design, microwave assisted synthesis and antimalarial evaluation. Her M.Pharm(Pharmaceutical Chemistry)was from Dibrugarh University, Assam in 2017. She received B.Pharm from Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Guwahati in 2015 under Gauhati University, Guwahati. She was a student of Cotton College, Guwahati where she did her HSSLC in science stream.
She has 9 publications from her research.All publications are from Wiley, Springer, Bentham Science and Taylor and Francis.In the Pharmaceutical Science area, she handled different scientific software as well as different instruments used for drug discovery.
