Dr. Nandita Chitrakar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Girijananda Chowdhury University. She pursued her Master Degree in Education from Tezpur University. She also pursued her B.Ed from Tezpur University where she gained practical teaching experience in school during her internship days. Dr. Chitrakar also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Administration from IGNOU. She holds Ph.D in Education from Rajiv Gandhi Central University in the year 2024. Her Doctoral research focused on Frustration and Self-esteem in relation to Parental Expectation of the Higher Secondary School Students, during which she developed a Scale to measure Parental Expectation. She cleared UGC-NET in the year 2019 and SLET in 2021. She has authored several research papers and book chapters and has presented various papers in National and International seminars. Dr. Chitrakar was honoured with the Media-tech Best Paper Presenter Award in the Three-Day Trans-Disciplinary International Conclave organised by Rajiv Gandhi Central University.
