8 students of Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam participated in the SNIC (Special National Integration Camp) NCC, held on 10 – 19 November 2024. They have participated and completed the 10kms category run of the Kokrajhar Half Marathon organized by the 7 Assam Battalion, NCC of NER Directorate.
Around 2000 participants ran for different categories. The cadets of GCU got the opportunity to interact with the cadets who came from all parts of the country i.e., around 400 cadets from 17 NCC directorates of India other than nearly 500 cadets from the NER Directorate. The camp concluded with the cultural exchange program from all states of India. The CTO of GCU acted as part of the organizer into this mega event and helped the cadets of GCU in attending and participating in the event.
