The IQAC Cell Kamrup College( Chamata), Nalbari invited Dr. Sampurna Bhuyan, Associate Professor , Department of Business Administration and Head (i.c) Department of Economics, Girijananda Chowdhury University as a Resource Person for an One Day Workshop on ‘ Scientific Research Journey in Academics’, on 5th October, 2024. She talked about how the research work in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management and Commerce can be made more scientific by incorporating different techniques of review of literature, application of mixed methods and by taking care of the publication standard. She highlighted on the combination of Bibliometric Research and Meta Analysis along with the process of selecting variables for standard research work. Almost 30 College teachers took part and interacted on the event. The workshop was concluded with the certificate distribution ceremony and a concluding remark from Dr. Kabita Choudhury , Vice, Principal, Kamrup College.
