Prof. Shantanu Chakravarty, Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences and HoD of Political Science department of Girijananda Chowdhury University was invited as Keynote Speaker by the Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University (KKHSOU) in a seminar on Consitution of India: Defender of Democracy. The seminar was organised by the Discipline of Political Science, KKHSOU to celebrate the 75 Years of Constitution, Samvidhan Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Prof. Chakravarty delivered a speech on the role of the Constitution of India in protecting and strengthening democracy in a diverse and inequal social system in India.
