The MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, in collaboration with the Foundation for Thoughtful Reasoning (NGO), recently organized a six-week Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP) in Salmara, Baihata Chariali, Kamrup District, Assam.
As part of this initiative, on the concluding day of the ESDP, November 5, 2024, a key lecture was delivered by Mr. Faruk Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam.
Mr. Ahmed’s session provided a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of business accountancy, specifically focusing on the essentials of preparing balance sheets, maintaining financial records and managing cash flows skills crucial for any aspiring entrepreneur. Mr. Ahmed addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of financial literacy in running a successful enterprise.
