An MoU is signed between BSNL Zonal Telecom Training Centre (ZTTC), Dharapur, Guwahati, ALTTC Circle and Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Azara to establish the initial framework for cooperation on 1st Sept, 2023.
One of the main objectives of the collaboration is that BSNL ZTTC Guwahati shall design and incorporate special modules in Telecommunication for updating the knowledge and skills of students of GCU including Vocational Training program like Summer/Winter/Weekend/Project trainings, Industrial visit to ZTTC Guwahati, joint certified course in Optical Fiber Networks, Mobile Network, Data Communication, Power Plant & UG cable etc, development programs on soft skills, motivational programs, leadership programs, and, team building programs, etc.
The collaboration also highlights that GCU shall try to accommodate and provide two batches of approximately 20 students every year for the course or training that will run at ZTTC Guwahati, Assam.
