Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU) signed a MoU with Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL)

In a major move to further strengthen ties between industry and academia in Assam, ๐†๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ฃ๐š๐ง๐š๐ง๐๐š ๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (๐†๐‚๐”) has solidified its adherence to collaborative activities by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Numaligarh Refinery Limited (๐๐‘๐‹).

The MOU was signed by Mr. Nalini Kanta Buragohain, CGM (CA), ๐๐‘๐‹ and Prof. Dipankar Saha, Registrar, GCU, Azara. Mr. Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan, Managing, Director, NRL, President SSA Mr. J R Das, Prof. Kandarpa Das, Vice Chancellor, GCU and other dignitaries of GCU and NRL were present during the MOU signing ceremony event at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Azara.

The MOU was signed with an aim to strengthen industry-academia linkage by adopting acceptable means for the mutual benefit of both organizations and to develop a closer relationship to help & promote mutual interests, arranging joint events, sharing knowledge & information and generating knowledge through research/ studies/ interactions/ practical exposure to industry, etc.

The considerable practical expertise of ๐๐‘๐‹ in the field of Technology and Managing Business and positioning ๐๐‘๐‹ as one of the most professionally running organizations in the Petroleum Sector shall support a healthy academic environment through events/ studies/ interactions/ research in Girijananda Chowdhury University and such bondage will ensure both the organizations to meet their challenges ahead through cooperation.
