Adarsh Pradhan (Faculty member, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Girjananda Chowdhury University, Assam), along with five students from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and one student from the Department of Computer Applications, are participating in the final round of the prestigious AICTE Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024, which are being held at the Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai on 11th and 12th December 2024.
Out of 88,221 teams and 4,92,960 students nationwide, only five teams from Assam are selected, and our team from Girjananda Chowdhury University is proud to be one of them. Our project that is selected for the final competition of SIH-2024 is titled “Conversational Image Recognition Chatbot”, is developed for Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
It features innovative capabilities such as targeted object detection, multilingual support, speech-to-text conversion, and customizable user settings. The team consists of the following members:
