Dr. Vidhya Srinivasan has been invited as a resource person in a three-day workshop organized by PEWS college

Dr. Vidhya Srinivasan, Professor& Head, School of Allied Health Sciences, GCU, has been invited as a resource person in a three-day workshop on the theme “Isolation, Identification & Antibiotic Sensitivity testing of commonly isolated bacteria from Clinical samples” on 5th to 7th February 2025 which is organized by PEWS college of Paramedical Sciences, Guwahati.

Dr. Vidhya Srinivasan delivered a talk on first day of workshop. She delivered a talk on the topic “Automation in Clinical Laboratory”. The talk focused on the growing role of Automation in modern clinical diagnostics, highlighting the efficiency and overall workflow. She also highlighted the evolution of Automation in clinical Laboratories, benefits of Automations, future trend and innovation in Laboratory Automation. She emphasized on role of Medical Lab professionals in smart labs and also insisted on acquiring additional skills to adapt to technological advancements.

The session was well received with active participation more than 100 medical laboratory science students and faculties from various colleges in Assam
