Dr. Snehal Kaushik, Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Girijananda Chowdhury University, presented a research paper titled “Seismic Resilience of Reinforced Concrete Frames: Evaluating the Impact of Bracing Systems and Soil-Structure Interaction” at the “8th International Conference on Recent Advances in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Soil Dynamics”.
This event was organized by Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET) in Association with Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and Department of Earthquake Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and took place from 11–14 December 2024 at IIT Guwahati
During the conference, Dr. Kaushik also served as Co-Chair for a session themed Seismic Design of Structures.
The technical paper will be published in the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering series of Springer, under the title Seismic Design and Performance of Structures, Soil-Structure Interaction.
