Dr. Abhinav Sarma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at GCU, was invited as a Resource Person by the Assam Administrative Staff College to conduct a training session for ACS officers, Assistant Commissioners, and senior-level Gazetted officers of the Government of Assam.
Dr. Sarma delivered an insightful session on the topic “Transformational Leadership for Effective Public Service Delivery.” The session was attended by around 30 officials from various districts across Assam and was part of a two-day workshop on “Leadership for Organisational Development and Innovation,” sponsored by the Government of Assam.
During his session, Dr. Sarma elaborated on the principles of transformational leadership and emphasized how strategic leadership approaches can significantly enhance the effectiveness of public service delivery. The session featured engaging case-based discussions and interactive activities, encouraging active participation from the attendees. The enthusiastic involvement of the participants made the session highly interactive and impactful.
