Bridging Medical and Pharmaceutical Research: GCU Faculties Present Cutting-Edge Studies at NEMPSCON 2024

Mrs. Asha Das and Ms. Zartaj Washmin Banu, Assistant Professors from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), participated in the 3rd National Annual Conference of the North Eastern Medical Pharmacological Society (NEMPSCON 2024). The conference was held on16th and 17th of November 2024 at the GMCH Auditorium, Guwahati, and was jointly organized by Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and AIIMS, Guwahati.

The event served as a remarkable platform for the exchange of groundbreaking ideas and emerging advancements in pharmacology and medicine. A significant focus of the conference was addressing pressing challenges, such as the increasing prevalence of adverse drug reactions, through innovative research and collaborative discussions. Mrs. Asha Das and Ms. Zartaj Washmin Banu showcased their research on natural compounds in therapeutic applications through paper presentations. The originality and scientific rigor of their research drew appreciation from the expert panel, sparking meaningful discussions among attendees.
