About the Event:
The event was part of the Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management & Technology’s Student Induction Programme (SIP), which is required of all new studennts starting new programmes. The goal was to familiarise new students with the tools and technoologies needed to operate with 3D printing technology. Mr. Bhabajit Baruah, a Tech Guru, presentted and described the functions of an online Desiggn CAD Software to the attendees. He educate d them about 3D Printers and 3D Printing techhnologies. The day-long training culminated with a closing ceremony in which attendees exxpressed gratitude for the programme and exprressed interest in continuing their studies at the AICTE-IDEA Lab. The programme gave stu dents significant insights into the potential applications of these technologies in a variety off industries. The program’s overall goal was to provide students with the opportunity to work with CAD modelling and 3D printing.
