About the Event:
The objective of the programme was to provide a general idea about complete PCB designing using a simulation tool to test electronic circuits in software environments and their fabrication. PCB design software named EAGLE was used. The following content was covered in the Student Induction Program:
- Brief Description of Electronic Components
- Eagle Software
- Demonstration of the Complete Fabrication Process
A total of 12 students participated in the Student Induction Program-Familiarization of PCB Prototype Machine. The students enjoyed the process of designing the electronic circuit layout, etching techniques, and soldering the components on their PCB. Feedback about the programme was collected. The students appreciated the initiative of the IDEA lab team in organizing the workshop. The programme came to an end with the valedictory session. Mr. Abhinandan Kalita and Mr. Tridib Roy (Tech Gurus) have coordinated & executed the Student Induction Program to make it successful in enhancing students’ skill levels.
