Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Assam is conducting a common admission test (GCUCAT 2024) for the academic session 2024-25 for admission into various undergraduate programs under GCU, Assam.

Date(s) of Examination: 26th May 2024
Duration of Examination: 120 minutes (02:00 Hrs)
Timing of Examination: 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 PM
Centre of Examination: GCUCAT- 2024 will be conducted in the following two places:
Declaration of Result: Will be announced on the University website https://gcuniversity.ac.in within 7 days of the Admission Test.

EXAMINATION SCHEME
MODE OF EXAMINATION GCUCAT 2024 is planned to be conducted in Pen Paper mode.
MEDIUM OF QUESTION PAPERS OF GCUCAT2024 will be conducted in English.
STRUCTURE OF QUESTION PAPERS:
Total marks of the Question Paper: 100
Question paper pattern: MCQ based, consists of two parts-
Part A: 50 marks: Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Awareness, General English (common to all)
Part B: 50 marks: Domain based (Syllabus is based on 10+2 level of CBSE/State Board)
There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. Candidates are advised to report at the Examination Centre well in time i.e. 30 minutes before commencement of the examination.
2. The candidate must show the Admit Card for GCUCAT 2024 printed from the university website for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card and authorized Photo ID shall not be permitted to take the examination.
