The School of Allied Health Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, organized a hospital visit to Marwari Maternity Hospital, Guwahati, on March 28, 2025. A group of 24 students from the BMLT and MMLT programs, guided by faculty members Mr. Monoj Rajkhowa and Mr. Prayash Borah, gained practical exposure to diagnostic laboratory operations.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Deori and hospital lab staff provided insights into departments like Haematology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, Clinical Pathology, Microbiology, and the Blood Centre. The visit helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Faculty and students expressed gratitude to the hospital management and staff for their support, with special thanks to Mr. Rohit Upadhayay for facilitating the MoU between the university and the hospital.
