The department of Computer Science and Engineering, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam, successfully hosted a two-day workshop on “Artificial Intelligence – Research Perspective in Multi-disciplinary Fields” sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi under the Scheme of AICTE-Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages from 29th to 30th November 2024.
The workshop focused on the research perspective of artificial intelligence in various fields. This workshop brought together researchers, academicians, and students to discuss the integration of Artificial Intelligence in multidisciplinary fields. The use of Assamese as the medium of instruction in the workshop highlighted the importance of promoting Indian languages in cutting-edge technology education.
The workshop featured an array of insightful sessions spread across two days. The event was seamlessly coordinated by Prof. Minakshi Gogoi, HoD and Ms. Shrabani Medhi, Assistant Professor, from the Department of CSE, and witnessed an overwhelming response from attendees. The workshop also highlighted the potential of regional languages in advancing technological research and education.
