Technical sessions (Day 1): The technical sessions of the international conference on the past, present and future of Asia focused on a host of crucial issues related to various geopolitical, cultural and economic dimensions of Asia. Participants from various parts of India as well as far-off countries such as Russia and Kyrgyzstan delivered presentations in the sessions. The speakers included Dr. Vinod Raturi, noted educationist and geo-strategic analyst, Prof. Indira Gazieva and five students from Russian State University of Humanities, Moscow, Ivan Zaitsev from Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and Dr. Jamilya Azimova from Osh State University, Kyrgyzstan.
