The department of Computer Science and Engineering has successfully organized the Research Conclave 2024 on 28th November 2024 at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Assam with the goal of fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing among researchers and academicians. The event brought together 33 participants as presenter, including students, faculty members, and experts from diverse fields of study.
The inaugural session began with the lighting of the lamp. After that welcome speech was given by Shri Jasoda Ranjan Das, President, SSA Society. The session began with a speech emphasizing on interdisciplinary research on Artificial Intelligence by Prof. Jayanta Deka, Chancellor, GCU, Assam.
The Keynote Speaker, Prof. Shyamanta M. Hazarika, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mehta Family School of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, IIT Guwahati has given a talk on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
