Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU) effectively completed the 2nd phase of Computer Literacy Drive in neighboring school children on 29th of August 2023.
The University generously contributed a combined total of eight sets of desktop computers to Dharapur Higher Secondary School (Dharapur), Paschim Ramcharani High School (Pub Mazirgaon) and Rajdhar Bora Higher Secondary School (Azara).
During the ceremony, Prof. Kandarpa Das, Honourable Vice Chancellor of GCU, and Dr. Dipankar Saha, Registrar of GCU, presented the computers to the respective Principals and Headmasters of the schools.
The event was undertaken by the faculty members and students of the Department of ECE to promote digital empowerment and provide the younger generation with the necessary skills to succeed in contemporary society.
Moreover, the University has also promised to voluntarily give computer-related training to the young budding minds of these schools.
This technological advancement will undoubtedly revolutionize the educational domain, enabling pupils to attain unprecedented knowledge and accomplishment.
