A one-day seminar on “Clinical Research Awareness, Career, and Opportunities” was successfully organized by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, in collaboration with MITCON Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Centre on 27th September 2024. The event aimed to create awareness about clinical research and its career prospects among students, researchers, and professionals.
The seminar featured esteemed guest speakers from MITCON, including Ms. Jyoti Rekha Patra, Centre Incharge (Kolkata) and expert in clinical research, and Ms. Bhitali Lahkar, Centre Incharge (Guwahati) and clinical research expert. They provided comprehensive insights into clinical research, its significance in healthcare, and career opportunities in the field.
Through interactive sessions and Q&A forums, participants engaged with the experts, clarifying their doubts and gaining valuable knowledge. The seminar highlighted current trends, challenges, and future prospects in clinical research, establishing connections between academia and industry professionals.
The event was a resounding success, attracting 112 participants from various disciplines. It fulfilled its objective of creating awareness and fostering interest in clinical research. The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, and MITCON Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Centre look forward to organizing similar initiatives in the future.
