The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The school offers two years, Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.); four years degree, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.); two years B. Pharm (Practice) for in service Pharmacists; two years post graduate Master of Pharmacy in four core discipline viz. Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy and Ph.D. program. The B. Pharm. Programme is accredited and re-accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for three consecutive terms (2016-19; 2019-22 and 2022-25).The school has been placed in the Rank-band 100-125 in the year 2023 by NIRF, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The vision and mission of the school clearly reflects the commitment of the institute towards promoting quality pharmacy education to cater the needsof the region, nation and the global community at large.

The institute follows the credit based semester system for imparting education as prevalent in other pharmacy institutes across the country. The academic programs are governed by rules and regulation of AICTE, PCI and GCU.
School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has state-of-art laboratories, sophisticated instruments, well stocked library, Cellculture laboratory, CPCSEA approved animal house etc. required for effective teaching-learning practices. Moreover, the school received several research projects from various funding agencies such as AICTE, DRDO, DST and most prestigious DST FIST.
