About the School
A pioneering centre for pharmaceutical education
The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Guwahati, is a leading centre for pharmaceutical education and research in Northeast India. Formerly the Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS), the School has been shaping skilled, ethical pharmaceutical professionals since 2007.
Approved by AICTE and recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, the School is backed by DST-FIST research funding and an experienced faculty committed to preparing graduates for careers in industry, healthcare, research, academia and regulatory affairs.
