Under the Sanchar Mitra Scheme (Department of Telecommunications, Government of India), Ananya Ghosh and Ayushprit Kalita, fourth semester ECE students, proudly represented GCU by organizing a Digital Literacy Programme at Pragya Academy, Baihata Chariali on 13th February 2026.
Around 120 Class XI students (Arts, Science & Commerce) actively participated.
The session covered:

✅ Responsible use of mobile and internet
✅ Telecom misuse & misinformation awareness
✅ Introduction to the Sanchar Saathi Portal
Through interactive discussions and live demonstrations, Sanchar Mitra volunteers from GCU empowered students with essential digital knowledge to stay safe and responsible in today’s connected world.
