Stabak Das is an academician and researcher in the field of pharmaceutics, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Tezpur, Assam. His academic journey reflects consistent excellence and a strong commitment to pharmaceutical sciences, with a focus on novel drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, and cancer therapeutics.
He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam (since 2025). Prior to this, he obtained his Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from the Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, Sikkim University, securing an outstanding CGPA of 9.3 (2020–2022). He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri, Govt. of West Bengal under The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, with a first-class percentage (2015–2019). His schooling was accomplished at Holy Child School, Jalpaiguri, where he excelled in both ICSE and ISC examinations.
Mr. Das has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical research, particularly in areas such as transdermal drug delivery, nanocarriers, smart polymers, and blood-brain barrier-targeted formulations. His scholarly works include more than a dozen publications in reputed international journals and book chapters with publishers such as CRC Press. His notable publications cover diverse themes ranging from melatonin’s anti-glioma potential to nanoengineered paclitaxel formulations for glioblastoma therapy, exosomes in cancer therapeutics, and advancements in sustainable biomedical applications of polysaccharides.
Das has presented his work at various conferences, including Jadavpur University, and holds certifications from IIT JAM (Biological Science) and NPTEL in bioengineering. His technical expertise includes proficiency in analytical instrumentation (UV-visible spectroscopy, dissolution apparatus, Franz diffusion cell), animal handling, and design of experiments. As a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), he actively contributes to academic and professional communities. His vision lies in bridging pharmaceutical innovation with clinical applicability, especially in oncology and targeted drug delivery.
