Dr. Sujan Sinha joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Girijananda Chowdhury University on 16th August 2023. He has more than 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Applied Mathematics. Dr. Sinha received his PhD degree from Gauhati University in the area of Fluid Dynamics in 2014. His current research consists of linear and non-linear MHD Flow problems with heat and mass Transfer. Up till now, 06 research scholars have obtained their Ph. D. degree and 01 has submitted his thesis under the supervision of Dr. Sinha. He has published more than 30 research articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. Moreover, he has presented his research works at fourteen different International and national conferences and participated in several FDPs and Workshops.
Alongside research, he has expertise in teaching and mentoring. His pedagogical focus encompasses a range of essential subjects, including Fluid Dynamics, Differential equation, Laplacle Transform, Classical Mechanics and Mathematical Methods.
Besides research and teaching, Dr. Sinha has a usual habit in participating in different types of indoor and outdoor games such as table tennis, badminton, carom, chess, arm-wrestling, cricket and football.
