The Department of English visions to embark on a leading role in the region in preparing our students to be critical readers and thinkers through developing their analytical abilities and appreciation of the literary and linguistic productions of their own culture and those of other cultures and communities.
The Surrealist painter Salvador Dali once said, “there is only one difference between a madman and me. The madman thinks he is sane. I know I am mad.” Reflecting on Dali’s unconventional way of thinking, the Department of English aims at honing the ability of the students to embrace their madness and their passion. To nurture this, we provide a stimulating and vibrant intellectual environment for students and research scholars through a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to literature, popular culture and language studies
The School of Humanities and Social Science is well equipped with every necessary facility and infrastructure for students to gain thorough knowledge and hands-on experience in their field of study.
