Nabajyoti Kalita joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tezpur Campus, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam as a Lecturer on 15th July 2024. At present, he is teaching the curriculum courses of D. Pharm such as Community Pharmacy Management, Pharmacotherapeutics, etc. After doing M. Pharm, he has freshly joined in the mentioned institute of GCU. His area of work is Computer aided drug design, novel drug synthesis and characterization, and novel drug design and evaluation for malarial disease.
He has done Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam with project title “synthesis of novel luteolin derivatives and study of antimalarial activity”. He is undergraduate in Bachelor of Pharmacy from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam and completed his required hour of industrial training from swahid Mukunda kakoti civil hospital, Nalbari, Assam. He has presented several poster and seminar in national level.
Apart from academics, he is good in sports. He has played Cricket in regional level in the year 2015 held in JNV Rangia, Assam. He has also played volleyball in regional levels in different Jnvs.
