Miss Sanghita Das joined the Department of Pharmacology as an Assistant Professor on November 14, 2022, at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, GCU, Tezpur. At present, she is teaching (and learning) the curriculum courses of Pharmacology, Human Anatomy and Physiology. Prior to this, sheworked in the Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), DRDO as a Senior Research Fellow. Her work was mostly in formulation development and toxicological assays using experimental animals in differentfields of molecular, analytical, biochemical, cytological, metabolomics, and drug designs.
She has done her (post-graduation) M.Pharm in Pharmacology (with a major project in Toxicity evaluation) from Maulana Azad AbulKalam University of Technology, West Bengal. Herundergraduate (B.Pharm) from Assam University (with a major project in gastric and peptic ulcer case study). Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
