Ravi’s academic journey began with his higher secondary education at Kendriya Vidhyalaya Naharlagun in 2005. He continued his pursuit of knowledge by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 2012 from Swamy Vivekanandha College of Pharmacy, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. His passion for pharmacology led him to complete a Master’s in Pharmacy in 2014 from PSG College of Pharmacy, specializing in Pharmacology, also affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

His thirst for scientific exploration led him to a DST-funded project on breast cancer, where he worked as a full-time Junior Research Fellow. Subsequently, under the guidance of Educator and Scientist Prof. (Dr.) M. Ramanathan, embarked on a Ph.D. journey, focusing on “Pre-clinical evaluation of neuroprotective effects of terpenes/terpenoids and stilbenoids in ischemia disease”, and was awarded in July 2022. His outstanding research was recognized with the second prize at the 7th Ph.D. Poster Symposium by the “Royal Society of Chemistry”, held at NIPER Hyderabad.

Ravi’s philosophy in life is to “Always be enthusiastic and eager to learn, because discoveries are made by those who are enthusiastic and eager to search and learn.”

During his academic journey, Ravi honed his skills in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and drug discovery tools provided by Schrödinger.

In August 2020, Ravi joined the School of Pharmacy at Arunachal University of Studies as an Assistant Professor, making a significant impact on the budding pharmacists of the region.
